Project summary:
The aim of the project is to increase the quality of Cambodian higher education in technical fields and at the same time increase the professional prestige of the University of Battambang (UBB). The aim is to improve the level of technical higher education at UBB through the development of science and research. The topic of the project is based on the identification of needs, which took place in cooperation with the management of UBB. The identification of the project is also based on the previous experience of the implementation team with the implementation of similar projects in developing countries, including Cambodia. The submitted project reflects the development priorities of Cambodia and the Development Cooperation Program of the Czech Republic in Cambodia for the period 2018-2023. The output of the project is a tool to support and motivate young researchers to participate in the scientific research process. The target groups of the project include young researchers at the Graduate School of UBB, whose competencies in the field of scientific research will be enhanced, as well as their practical application. They will be able to publish in prestigious journals indexed in electronic databases Scopus or Web of Science.
